So a month or two ago I had a dream that we I gave birth to Nugget out of a wine bag/bladder. This may sound ridiculous to you, and believe me it is, but if you've ever taken the bag that's inside a box of wine out to look at, it looks sort of like a bladder. Anyway, in my dream I was holding said wine bag/bladder and it started to move. Tim asked what was happening and I said, "I think the baby is coming." That's all I remember of the dream. Seriously though, it sounds like a great way to go through labor. Oh and it also sounds like I REALLY miss a good glass of wine! :)
The Skinny Pants:
I've purchased seasonal "basics" for Cameron from an online consignment shop a couple of times now with really good luck. Recently though, the fall/winter basics gave me a little mishap on the home-front. I purchased what I thought were army green, cotton pants. When I actually dressed Cameron in them though, Tim said, "I think those are too small"...then a few minutes passed and he asked, "are those chick pants? there aren't any back pockets." I tried really hard to hold my giggle, especially after I noticed the small plastic heart on the front pocket. Then when Cameron walked towards the table, Tim finally said, "Nicole, those are girl pants, boys pants always have back pockets." I replied by saying it was no big deal, they were just skinny pants. As Tim walked to Cameron's room and came back with a different pair of pants he said, "Boys don't do skinny pants in our family, we've got too much junk in the trunk!" So, the army green pants came off, and some very masculine jeans went on. Note to self for next time, always double check the pockets. :)
The Checkout Lady:
At an early morning trip to Lowe's a week or so ago, Cameron and I were having the best time playing through the aisles. When we were all finally ready to check out the lady ringing us up said, "Kids today have such big heads. He's adorable, but wow that's a big head!" I responded by accidentally calling her Sir.
I mean what happened to the rule that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all?
