Hello November!

via
So some of my October Goals have morphed into full blown November Goals and others just changed completely! I'd like to blame part of this on hormones. :)

Accomplished October Goals:
- (now that we sort of have a plan for the misfit rooms in our house) get started on those room makeovers! We got started, but boy it was a really small start!
- do one fall craft project I bought fake flowers and have some fall vases around the house. I typically don't like fake flowers, but it brought some fall colors alive, and hey it counts!
- hit up a pumpkin patch You saw the pictures to prove it!
- decide on Halloween costumes -- (stat!) Blog post on Halloween coming next...
- prep and motivate yourself for running the turkey trot on Thanksgiving
- try one new recipe We tried Quinoa for the first time. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. Cameron liked it though, so there's that.
- organize the attic; purge! It's not an A+, but I have an idea of where things are now and I got rid of some things that we needed to say goodbye to.
- go see a movie - in a theater! This is just not our go-to outing. We'll keep trying.
- consider beginning your Christmas shopping? eeek. ok at least think of ideas? Ideas have hatched and now we just have to narrow things down and get started!
- take those 3 pairs of shoes to the shoe hospital for their yearly check up Not sure that these shoes are worth saving for another year.  Might be time to donate them and do some shoe shopping! Darn!
- plan a camping trip camping might turn into a "cabin-ing" trip for the spring.  There's talk...
- go dancing/have a date night Date night - check! Dancing -- someday soon I hope!
- do something new and different. (oh wait, I already said I was going to try a new recipe! bahaha!) I did try the new recipe, but other than that I can't think of anything new and different that I tried.

November Goals:

- Work on that Home Project List -- a little bit each weekend!
- Begin Christmas Shopping! You thought of ideas now get crackin'!
- If you're not going to get those shoes into the shoe hospital, then donate them!
- Make those Anniversary plans, hopefully a movie or dancing is included.
- Get a puzzle to do over Thanksgiving!
- Find or make an advent calendar

November is one of my favorite months, but it's also the month that I begin to notice the calendar filling up and just how busy we can get for the holidays!  I'm excited that things will cruise by though because that means that this pregnancy is going by quickly too!
