* Cameron is potty trained (except for the night time pull ups and the rare accident)! Thank the LORD!
* NOLA (New Orleans) is officially off the bucket list. We can say we've been, but I don't think I'll ever go back. Meanwhile thank goodness for family.
* We're on the verge of moving Payton to a toddler bed and cutting back his pacifier time. I've been holding off on the pacifier until most of his teeth were cut and after last weekend, let's just say that kid has a mouthful!
* Cameron has learned how to check himself out in the mirror and buckle himself in his car seat. He's old.
* The laughter that goes on around here is insane. and loud.
* I've turned into a moment junkie. I'm constantly thinking about traditions, memories and moments. Forever wondering what Cameron and Payton will remember of this time and what they'll hold on to. Not just now, but always.
* Mornings off are for family magic.
* It doesn't matter how old you are, there is always fun and crazy to be had!
* Brothers - enough said.
The last week of June and the first week (or so) of July are heavy reminders around here to take life by the horns. To hug tighter, to tell someone how much they mean to you and to make the plans that you've been putting of. Every year I take stock on it all: I breathe the freshness in and I remember. The journey. The path. The people. I tell myself not to spend too much time looking forward and to instead be present in everything I do. To witness the magic, you first have to open your eyes to it. I think that's why children are able to truly see the magic; They believe.
Here's to little reminders and believing big! More from 4th of July coming soon.
