Moving on Up!

We're moving this weekend!

In A Benton World that's an exciting adventure, but one that we've taken often. We know the drill and we work together as a team...Team Benton that is! This house seems to be just the right fit for us and we're very excited about the possibilities!  We enjoy projects, especially ones that we can work on and brainstorm together, but sometimes too many projects can cause quite the headache. This house has just the right amount of projects and we can't wait to dive in one at a time.  The question is, who decides which project we start first!  Tim says that this is his "forever house", but I'm not holding my breath. I've heard that kind of talk before.

It's still in the 90's here in Texas and it's almost Halloween! The new house has a pool and Tim has informed me that we will be diving in this weekend to celebrate. I plan on doing a cannon ball with all my clothes on after we get the last piece of furniture in, but then I'm running as fast as I can for a nice hot shower!  I have a feeling that the pool is going to be pretty chilly!

It's funny how the idea of being settled into our new home can change our attitude and outlook so quickly. Since we've been living cramped and oh-so-minimally in a small one bedroom apartment for the last two months, I'm already day dreaming of organizing and furniture placement, tasting the meals that I'm planning for our first week in my brand new kitchen and smiling as I think about passing out Halloween candy and meeting new neighbors! Oh and did I mention we ordered a new couch? I should say, we ordered our first ADULT couch! :) We picked size, style, type of fabric, type of pillows and everything. They're making this couch just for us, custom to our wants and needs, and I gotta tell ya, I'm so excited for that bad boy to come through my new front door!

I'll be posting pictures of our new home aka our next adventure next weekend as we get settled in. Until then, we're soaking up life In A Benton World....and this week it's so far so good!
